Lindsay Miller
Owner/Director
Lindsay is owner and founder of the Little Prairie Learning Center. With a bachelors degree in Organizational Management from Bluffton University, Lindsay quickly realized the need for childcare in the Waynesfield area and filled that need! She is happily married with 5 kids at home that keep her on her toes!
Olivia Abner
Daycare Administrator
Olivia was a former toddler teacher with Little Prairie and is excited to be back as an administrative assistant. She attended the University of Cincinnati where she received her Associates of Arts and a major in Pre-Athletic Administration.

Sandy Riemesch
Infant Teacher
Sandy grew up in the Elida area and then spent several years in Columbus while obtaining her bachelors degree at OSU. Sandy and her husband have been married 33 years and moved to Waynesfield in 2000. They have been blessed with two daughters and a son and now are blessed with 3 grandchildren. Sandy has joined the Little Prairie team as part time, but grew to love it and is now working full time with us!
Wendy Gossard
Infant Teacher
Wendy is a 1986 Waynesfield Goshen High School Graduate. She is still local in the Waynesfield area. Wendy loves spending time with her family of 4 children and 8 grandchildren! Wendy has been a part of the Little Prairie Family since June of 2022.
Ella McClain
3s Teacher
Hi, I am Ella! I went to Apollo and did the early childhood program for two years, working with children in a daycare setting for three years. Graduating from Apollo, I did receive my CDA. I am super excited to work with three year olds; creating an exciting, and fun learning experience for them.
Codie Ewing
Lead Infant Teacher
Hello, My name is Codie and I am the Lead Teacher in the Infant Room. I have lived in Waynesfield all my life, attending WG school. I have a two-year-old daughter who comes here to LPLC and I also have a 13 year old daughter. For my hobby outside of work and my kids, I enjoy going to the gym. My favorite part about being a teacher is getting to watch the kids grow and see all that they can learn.
Fiona Kuncel

My name is Fiona and I will be floating between the infant room and the preschool rooms. I love being with kids and I’ve always wanted to work with them since about the age of 16 years old. I love to draw, paint, go on walks, and read good mystery books. What brought me here to LPLC? To expand my experience with different ages of kids, see the different kinds of needs and overall learning experience.

PT Assistant Teacher
I worked in childcare for about 2 years, before moving to a different state. I am from Macomb County, Michigan, currently I am studying Digital Marketing at Macomb Community College. I moved down here to be closer to my boyfriend, who is studying at UNOH in Lima. Some things I like to do in my free time is listen to music, watch movies, and go to the gym. I am excited to get back into childcare, as it brought me so much joy before, in teaching kids and seeing each one grow individually.

Before/After School Teacher & Summer Day Camp
My husband and I have been married for 22 year and we have two sons. One is 18 and the other is 20 years old. I have lived in Waynesfield for 32 year, and my husband and I built our house. Fun fact about me is, I come from a large family. I have 5 sisters and 3 brothers. One of my favorite things to do is help others, especially kids. I am excited to spend time with the kids after school, helping them continue learning by helping with homework, and creating a great environment.
Aubrey Jacqueth
Summer Day Camp
I relocated to Ohio in 2019 and am currently teaching animal science courses during the school year at Wright State Lake Campus. With a background as a 4-H camp counselor, I’ll bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to working with youth. I’m thrilled to join Little Prairie Learning Center for summer camp this year and ready to inspire and engage participants with my passion for agriculture, the environment and STEM-based learning.
Maddison Guckes

I’m currently a college student and was looking for a part-time job, that’s when I found Little Prairie Learning Center. I grew up babysitting all my cousins and enjoyed it. I have been working part-time for 6 months now, and I help out in classrooms where needed. I enjoy that this job always keeps me on my toes and my favorite part is getting to know all the children and watch them grow. I look forward to continuing to grow with Little Prairie.
Hallie Carpenter
Pre-K Teacher
I have been working within education for 5 years, working mostly in preschool special education. My husband, Jarred, is a 5th grade math and science teacher at Waynesfield-Goshen. Jarred and I got married in October 2024 and have been together for 7 years. We live in Wapakoneta and have 2 dogs, Knox and Cooper.In my free time, I like to read, craft, and spend time with my family. I am also a cheer coach at Waynesfield-Goshen. Go Tigers!!
