Administration
Lindsay Miller
Owner/Director
Lindsay is owner and founder of the Little Prairie Learning Center. With a bachelors degree in Organizational Management from Bluffton University, Lindsay quickly realized the need for childcare in the Waynesfield area and filled that need! She is happily married with 5 kids at home that keep her on her toes!
Olivia Abner
Daycare Administrator
Olivia was a former toddler teacher with Little Prairie and is excited to be back as an administrative assistant. She attended the University of Cincinnati where she received her Associates of Arts and a major in Pre-Athletic Administration.
Megan Clum
Preschool Administrator
Megan has been working in childcare since 2019. She began her journey with school agers at the Wapak YMCA and then after obtaining her CDA Megan became a preschool teacher at Little Prairie right as they opened. She is now the administrator of the preschool program.

Heather Cook
Infant Teacher
Heather has been married to her husband Jon for 7 years. They have 5 loving children together. Heather has been with the Little Prairie team since almost opening day. She truly loves working with infants and counts it as a blessing in her life each day.
Sandy Riemesch
Infant Teacher
Sandy grew up in the Elida area and then spent several years in Columbus while obtaining her bachelors degree at OSU. Sandy and her husband have been married 33 years and moved to Waynesfield in 2000. They have been blessed with two daughters and a son and now are blessed with 3 grandchildren. Sandy has joined the Little Prairie team as part time, but grew to love it and is now working full time with us!
Wendy Gossard
Infant Teacher
Wendy is a 1986 Waynesfield Goshen High School Graduate. She is still local in the Waynesfield area. Wendy loves spending time with her family of 4 children and 8 grandchildren! Wendy has been a part of the Little Prairie Family since June of 2022.
Heidi Byrd
Assistant Preschool Teacher
Hello! My name is Heidi Byrd and I am a recent graduate and the eldest of my family. I have a passion for working with children and am currently involved in homeschooling some of my younger siblings. In my leisure time, I enjoy cooking, backing, socializing with friends and participating in church activities. I love writing, paper-crafting, music and coffee.

Alyssa Leonard

Alyssa has been with Little Prairie for about a year now! She was always babysitting relatives growing up and spent a lot of time helping out in the kindergarten class throughout free time in highschool. Doing that is when she realized she wanted to work with kids once she graduated.
Isabella Fonner

Hello, my name is Isabella Fonner, and I’m so excited to be starting at Bowling Green State University this fall. Teaching has always been something I’ve felt deeply passionate about. Ever since I was little, I’ve loved helping others learn, whether it was explaining homework to classmates or just being there when someone needed a little extra help. I’ve always know I wanted to be a teacher, and I can’t wait to start this next chapter and work toward making that dream a reality.

Hi, I’m Molly! I’m currently a student at OSU Lima and studying education. When I’m not doing homework, I’m either crocheting or working on my photography! I’m a very crafty person, so I am constantly looking for new hobbies. I also love spending time with my family, best friends and my two cats!

I relocated to Ohio in 2019 and am currently teaching animal science courses during the school year at Wright State Lake Campus. With a background as a 4-H camp counselor, I’ll bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to working with youth. I’m thrilled to join Little Prairie Learning Center for summer camp this year and ready to inspire and engage participants with my passion for agriculture, the environment and STEM-based learning.
Maddison Guckes

I’m currently a college student and was looking for a part-time job, that’s when I found Little Prairie Learning Center. I grew up babysitting all my cousins and enjoyed it. I have been working part-time for 6 months now, and I help out in classrooms where needed. I enjoy that this job always keeps me on my toes and my favorite part is getting to know all the children and watch them grow. I look forward to continuing to grow with Little Prairie.
Kendel Rall

I have been working at Little Prairie in the Infants Room part-time since last fall. When I’m not working here I enjoy all things outdoors, running and being with friends. This past winter, I got the opportunity to spend the winter working a seasonal job in Utah helping beginners learn to ski. I took advantage of skiing as much as possible while I was out there and loved every minute of it!
